SPRING HAS ARRIVED AT JABAJAK
As the days grow lighter and the first signs of Spring appear across the Carmarthenshire countryside, we’re delighted to introduce our brand new Spring menu.
The season is all about freshness, colour and celebrating the wonderful local produce from our doorstep. Louis and Jackie have carefully crafted dishes that showcase the very best local ingredients, from seasonal vegetable bursting with flavour to beautifully reared Welsh meats and artisan cheeses.
Spring at Jabajak is about relaxed dining, great wine and taking a moment to enjoy the changing season in the peaceful surrounding of our vineyard.

MOTHERING SUNDAY AFTERNOON TEA – SUNDAY 15th MARCH
You are invited to celebrate Mothering Sunday in elegant style by indulging in a beautifully curated Afternoon Tea experience.
Why not treat someone special to an afternoon of refined flavours, from delicate savouries and classic finger sandwiches to freshly baked scones and exquisite sweet creations, all served in the relaxed luxury of our vineyard setting.
Two elegant sittings available:
12.30pm – 2.00pm
2.30pm – 4.00pm

STEAK NIGHT RETURNS – SATURDAY 18TH APRIL
Following the huge success of our Steak Night in November, we are firing up the grill once more for an unforgettable evening of steak, style and seriously good food at Jabajak!
On the menu you’ll find mouth watering favourites like:
16oz T-Bone – bold, juicy and cooked just how you like it
10oz Bone-in Sirloin – full flavour and charred to perfection
Chateaubriand or Cote de Bouef to share – the ultimate indulgence for two
We are welcoming back our Guest Chef Jude Kelly, who did an amazingly fabulous job last time.

THE BEST WINE IN WALES
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our 2021 White House Sparkling Blush has just been crowned Best Regional Wine – Wales at the prestigious WineGB Awards 2025.
To repeat – The Best Wine in Wales. WOW!!
The awards were held at Southwark Cathedral on Thursday 17th July and our lovingly crafted sparkling blush scored an incredible 92 points out of 100, with judges praising its ”Notes of wild berries, redcurrants and peach yoghurt… a creamy and fresh palate with strawberries and cream on the finish. Deliciously creamy mousse. Well made, enjoyable.”
Louis and Nicole went to the awards to collect the trophy as this is a huge honour for us and a very proud moment for Carmarthenshire Wine!

ABOUT US
Set in 7 acres of grounds in a tranquil, peaceful location amongst beautiful rolling countryside and within its own vineyard, Jabajak is an eclectic gem on the border of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, central to all the best of West Wales.
Under new ownership since September 2021, Steve and Jackie Moody have sympathetically added their own contemporary styling to the three intimate dining areas, The Smithy, The Attic and The Cowshed, as well as the cosy Landsker Bar, all formed out of the original old Drover’s stone buildings. Think warm stone walls, honeyed wood beams, a roaring log burning stove and flattering candlelight.
ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING POINTS
For electric car owners, we have installed two Tesla Type 2 charging points which are free to use for overnight guests.
OUR VINEYARD, KITCHEN AND WINES
Our vineyard has been given a makeover as it has matured, and now Steve and Jackie’s boundless enthusiasm is obvious in the clear step change in what was already a well-regarded kitchen serving impeccably sourced local ingredients, with real provenance. The resident honeybees, and our own vegetable gardens, make dining a treat.
Needless to say as accomplished winemakers, our very own tipple, the White House Wine of Wales, shows well in a wine list of rare quality and turns ‘wine-miles’ into ‘wine-metres!
The award-winning range of White House wines includes a still white, a still red, a sparkling white and a sparkling blush. The latter was crowned ‘Best Wine in Wales’ in the WineGB 2025 awards.
CELLAR DOOR WINE TASTING EXPERIENCE
Why not join a wine tasting talk at 17.30 each day to enjoy three of our different vintages, whilst learning about the fascinating history of Jabajak and our link to the White House in America? It is a journey through history and weather permitting will include a walk around the vineyard.
